We strongly care about delivering the best care and optometry services to you with the latest equipment and technology. In order to continue to uphold and provide this high quality service, we have implemented a call out fee.

The call out fee is dependent on your location in Sydney metro and if the booking is for one person or large group bookings (e.g. schools, nursing homes, companies, etc.). Please contact us and one of our friendly staff can give you a quote.

Any call outs outside of our opening hours and/or outside of Sydney metro will have an additional fee.

Yes, comprehensive eye tests are bulk billed to Medicare. If you are eligible, there are no out of pocket charges, which means it’s free for you!

Please note that Medicare does not cover the call out fee.

It depends on what you order as we have a wide selection of frames, lenses and extras to choose from. On the day of your eye test, our optical dispensers will guide you through the process and recommend the most suitable frames and lenses based on your comfort, style and vision needs.

If you have private health insurance with optical coverage, you can be reimbursed for your prescription opticals purchase. The reimbursement amount depends on your coverage with the health insurance company.

Yes, we accept all private health insurances in Australia. As long as you have optical cover with your private health insurance, you can use it to partially or fully reimburse your frames and lenses. The reimbursement amount depends on your coverage with the health insurance company.

For on site eye tests, we can adapt and work with the space you have to set up our portable optometry equipment where you are comfortable. We will only need access to one power point outlet to plug in our equipment.

If you would like to have eye tests conducted in our clinical van at your chosen location, we just need a safe space to park the van where it is accessible for patients to get in and out.

The call out fee will be $500 outside of our opening hours.

Yes, we have the same technology as some of the optometry clinics you are familiar with (and sometimes even more advanced). The main difference is that we also consider portability as an important factor.

You can be rest assured that there is no compromise on quality and care.

No, we differ from other mobile clinics as we conduct full comprehensive eye tests. We don’t just tell you if we find an issue, we are there with you as we help you manage and treat the eye problem to maximise your visual potential.

The simple answer – Everyone!

If you don’t have the mobility to visit the local optometrist or you simply prefer to get things done in the comfort of your own home, our clinic can come to you. We also do large group visits for schools, nursing homes, worksites, etc. Improve Eyes exists to enhance your lifestyle and wellbeing.

It will take 2 to 3 weeks for your glasses order to arrive.

Our goods and services abide by the Australian Consumer Laws and other applicable laws. Consumers are entitled to replacement or refunds for major failure of acceptable quality goods. Refunds will be given by refunding to credit or debit cards. There are no refunds on clearance ranges, customised goods including prescription glasses, purchase of goods by gift cards and other specified purchases on events.
